Protecting the environment is a core business responsibility at Brinkley Mining. For us this means:

• pro-active pollution prevention;
• waste management and clean-up;
• environmental monitoring and reporting.

Protecting the environment stretches from good housekeeping and due diligence to sustaining clean water, soil and air within and around our operations and also post-closure. 

In addition to Brinkley’s legal obligations, we monitor a growing range of international codes of conduct and voluntary initiatives.

Brinkley Mining’s environmental strategy:

• To understand the links between protecting the underlying bio-geophysical environment and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
• To assess potential impacts and develop anticipative strategies and environmental management systems.
