DRC Update

25 July 2007

Further to the Company's announcement on 11 July 2007, we are pleased to announce that the three agreements (the Shareholders' Agreement, Technical and Financial Assistance Agreement and the Articles of Association for the creation of a jointly-owned DRC company) required to be executed by 24 July 2007 have been signed by Brinkley Mining and the Commissariat General a l'Energie Atomique ("CGEA"). The Company is working closely with CGEA and the Congolese authorities to implement the agreements.
