APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT CROLL AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

The Board of Brinkley Mining is pleased to announce that Mr Robert Charles Croll has been appointed Executive Director - Business Development, of the Company with effect from 1st July 2007.

Mr Croll, aged 55, joins the Company following 9 years at AngloGold Ashanti Limited. A mining engineer by training, Robert has enjoyed a varied career in the African mining industry with experience at many companies and operations including Anglo American, Anglovaal and De Beers. Whilst at AngloGold Ashanti, Robert has been involved in acquisitions, disposals and stock exchange listings as well as the conversion of the company's old order rights to new order rights. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Robert is also a member of the South African Reserves and Resources Code ("SAMREC") Working Group, is a fellow of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and is also currently Chair of a team to develop a South African Mineral Asset Valuation Code.

Robert is currently a director of the Nuclear Fuels Corporation of South Africa (Pty) Ltd, a company which is wholly owned by AngloGold Ashanti and which was established in 1967 to process and market uranium concentrates to nuclear power generators around the world.

As part of his remuneration package Robert will be awarded 85,000 new ordinary shares in the Company upon joining which will vest on 1st November 2007 and 2 million options at a strike price of 25 pence which will vest after 12 months of employment and have a 5 year term from the date of vesting.

Ralph Bagirathi currently CEO Southern Africa will leave the Company on 30 June 2007.

Robert is currently a director of Nuclear Fuels Corporation of South Africa (Pty) Ltd and is an alternate directors of Beisa Oryx (Pty)ltd, Ellaton Gold Company ltd, and Lucas Black Minerals ltd. Robert will resign from these positions once he begins employment with Brinkley Mining Plc on the 1st July 2007

There are no further details in relation to the above appointment which require disclosure under paragraph (g) (iii) to (viii) of Schedule 2 to the AIM Rules.
